I took my first boat ride of the year on Memorial Day Weekend with Papa & Mimi Anderson, Uncle Craig, Corey, Great Uncle Mark, Gail, Mommy, and Daddy! I had a lot of fun and even got to drive the boat! The water was still a little chilly for my liking, though!

Here I am for my first visit to the salon!! I needed a hair cut pretty bad (according to Dad!!) He said is was hanging over my ears too much!!

I decided I didn't really like the cape or sitting on the booster seat, so Grammie A had to read to me....and I sat still for another......few seconds!!

On Christmas Eve, we left first thing to go down to Grandma and Grandpa Gentle's. Uncle Ryan was there, too. I got a cool play farm set that makes all kinds of noise! Later that day, we went in to visit Great Grandma Gentle and to see Uncle Tom and Aunt Joyce. We had a yummy supper and I got MORE presents!!! (Mom is kinda forgetful these days- she forgot to take the camera with. I guess as long as she remembers my food, milk, and diapers, I shouldn't be too hard on her!)

After opening presents Christmas morning at home with mommy and daddy, we hit the road to Grammie and Papa Anderson's house. Uncle Craig and Corey were there.

Geeezz! 3 months have already passed since my 1st birthday, but mommy wanted to post some of the photos anyway! Since my birthday was on a Thursday, I spent the whole day with mommy and daddy and we had FUN! Then, on that Saturday, we celebrated with mommy's side of the family and on Sunday, with Daddy's side of the family. What a great 1st birthday! (even if it was 3 months ago!!)

Uncle Craig got a Pontoon Boat this summer and I got to take my first boat ride!

After we got to the cove, they let me out of my life jacket!

I celebrated my 6 month birthday on Wednesday. Mommy and Grandma Anderson took me to the park for a photo shoot. Sitting By Myself - For Real This Time

Whew ~ I've had a busy week! Wednesday was Mommy and Daddy's 3rd anniversary, so Grandma and Papa Anderson came to play with me while Mommy and Daddy went out to eat. On Saturday, Grandma, Papa, and Uncle Craig brought Mommy and Daddy their anniversary present - a bench for the back patio (something that looks pretty neat for me to climb on!!). Then, today, Grandma Gentle drove up to spend the day with me. I have been working on sitting up all week and tonight after Grandma left, I got the hang of it pretty good ~ the proof is below! (Mommy jumped the gun in an earlier post - Daddy was still holding on to my arm). Now I am so tired that I am taking a big nap.......that's it until next time!!!

Every year, in celebration of getting the crops planted, Grandpa Anderson takes all of his "helpers" out for a nice supper. Rumor has it that he does it again in the fall to celebrate harvest - now if I can just get big enough to eat one of those steaks!

Since I'm not old enough for steak yet, Uncle Craig thought I should just have beer!
If you look real close, you can see that I am sooo close to getting a hold of Papa's mustache - everyone (except Papa) can hardly wait for the day when I take a big handful!

Daddy was in his college roommate's wedding in St. Louis the first weekend in June, so I spent my first whole weekend away from home. I traveled really good (slept most all of the way) and even slept good in my pack n play. Here I am on the huge bed all by myself right after my bath.

Since this was Mommy's First Mother's Day, I was EXTRA good for her. We had a busy weekend. After helping at the flower shop, we cooked supper for Grandma Anderson Saturday night. On Sunday, we left bright and early to go visit Grandma Gentle. Too bad she had to work, but its finally nice farmers were able to be in the fields Sunday. After lunch, we headed back home to spend some time as our "family." We stopped at a little park shelter on the way so I could eat and Mommy had to have a little photo shoot.
